In Muncie, Indiana, 32-year-old Honesty Knight was arrested last Friday for, among other things, being a dumbshit. Apparently, early on Friday, the vehicle which Knight was a passenger in was pulled over by Trooper Eric Perkins for a traffic violation. While Trooper Perkins was speaking with the driver Knight reportedly asked the Trooper for permission to smoke. Trooper Perkins casually acquiesced – most likely feeling it unnecessary to clarify that it was only permissible to smoke tobacco. Knight then proceeded to light up, at which time an undoubetly incredulous Trooper Perkins asked to examine Knight’s cigarette. Upon closer inspection, Trooper Perkins discovered that Knight was not smoking tobacco but, rather, marijuana.

Admirably resisting the understandably strong urge to shoot on site, Trooper Perkins then arrested Knight on preliminary charges of possession of paraphernalia. After completing her obligatory brief stay in jail, Knight was then released on bond of an undisclosed amount. As per the tenants of the U.S. criminal justice system, Knight is presumed stupid until proven otherwise.
