Do you really like your car?

You are what you drive

Everyone has reasons as to why they’re drawn to the automobile they drive. For some it comes down to money, for others it’s passion and yet for others it’s the simple fact that they’re car is an extension of their personality. Remember that buying a car is an emotional decision, not a rational one which means that regardless if you buy a base Kia or the top of the line Ferrari, you’re emotions, in one way or another lead you to that decision. Personally, I look at cars everyday and am constantly thinking of what I’ll purchase next. Now granted, most of my thoughts are pipe dreams, but that doesn’t change the fact if your car doesn’t resonate with you on an internal level, well then, there’s probably something wrong with you.

I have three cars, none of which would I describe as “resonating with me on an internal level”. There are things I like about each of the cars I suppose, but in all cases what utility they have is well offset by their flaws. If you have really found cars where the flaws are outweighed by the benifits to the extent you’d say it’s harmonic and spiritual vibrations tickle your soul… well then, more power to you!
