WalMart Most Requested OnStar Destination: The Apocalypse Is Here

Just in case you needed further proof that our civilization is in decline, Left Lane News has published a list of the top ten destinations requested by On-Star customers. You’d think that a gas station would be atop the list, or maybe you’d hope that a library or book store is up there. You’d be wrong, though: the routing most requested by OnStar users is the nearest WalMart, followed Holiday Inn, Home Depot, Walgreens and Marriot hotels.

McDonalds, which you knew would be on the list, comes in next at number six. Seeing as it’s federal law that there must be a McDonalds within two miles of every American outside of Alaska, I’m not sure why you’d need directions to one. Just follow the smell of french fries, and you can’t miss it. Bank of America comes in at number seven, and rounding out the list is Starbucks (no surprise here), Target and Hampton Inn.

Don’t think it’s just us Americans searching for WalMart and McDonalds, since the list covers both U.S. and Canadian OnStar customers. American users must outnumber Canadians by about 1,000 to 1, since “Timmy Hortons” didn’t make the list.
