Also, it seems to suffer the same fatal drawback as other early three-point belt systems, IE lack of "give" so reaching the headlight, wiper, heater or radio controls involved unbuckling the belt or adjusting it so loose that it would possibly cause you more injury in a crash than not wearing it. Looking at the picture, one can’t help but wonder how the belt was adjusted.
