Mulholland Scooter Crash

It’s no secret that Southern California has some amazing roads, but perhaps none is so famous (or infamous) as the fabled Mulholland Drive. This two lane stretch of twisty road in the Santa Monica Mountains has been the subject of movies, video games and, believe it or not, is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Southern California. For car and motorcycle enthusiasts however, the road has an entirely different attraction. You see from a driving perspective it is, without a doubt, one of the greatest roads in the United States. Sports car and motorcycle enthusiasts venture through its curves daily in the hopes of getting a nice shot of adrenaline pumping through their veins. Take heed though as Mulholland has a way of biting back if you’re not careful. The following video shows how it took down an unsuspecting guy on a scooter who “thought” that he knew what he was doing. Hmm… maybe next time he’ll actually pony up and get some real riding gear as opposed to letting his skin take the brunt of the pavements wrath.

ive always said scooters are deathtraps. small wheels make them less stable, means you cant lean as much in corners and the front wheel tend to catch on stuff easier making you catapult over the front. and the largest one is since they are relatively easy to drive and relatively slow people think they dont nead leather gear for them

What do you mean Crocks are not proper riding equipment?!

  3. He is lucky there was a railing there or else he would have rolled down the hill and died. His show flew down the hill. I am moving to L.A soon but I will NEVER drive Mulholland or PCH to Malibu. I hate those windy curvy roads when they go up in the hills and mountains. I cannot drive those at all.
