We are all well aware of the brass ones Nicky Hayden drags along to each Moto GP race. In the last go round in Laguna Seca, Hayden casually jumped onto his second bike after a huge crash and finished 5th. Apparently, this was not spectacular enough. So, instead of launching his flailing body across the finish line, he cannon balls into Ducati Pramac rider Niccolo Canepa, who appeared to be on his way to a high side anyway. Canepa was carried off in a stretcher. And Nicky? He finished 8th.

We say: Nicky and his Lady Luck make one cute (and entertaining) couple.
