2012 Nissan Rogue SV FWD: RideLust Review
The driver of the Mercedes captured in the YouTube video below does not appear to be overly enthusiastic about his viral video debut, even appears to be attempting to evade the amateur videographers – at least as much as a completely totaled left front end will allow.
Although the only audio that can be heard is the barely discernible yet clearly incredulous background chatter of the impromptu film crew, the desperation of the Benz driver combined with the distinct lack of raucous adolescent male laughter usually present in staged footage, clearly indicates we’re witnessing the “run” portion of a “hit and run.” While definitely bizarre, the reality of the situation isn’t quite as funny as it should be when you consider the force of the impact required to sustain that kind of damage.
That had to be part of a hit and run, I am really shocked at how long the car could stay on the road without causing another accident.
Did this person not feel that there was something very wrong with his car, or was he just trying to get away, that just shows guilt to me. I have to give him credit he did handle the car very well.
