Video: Cash Crunch Prompts Ford To Commit Highway Robbery

Early Wednesday morning, two Missouri men were captured on CCTV using a white Ford F-150 to break into JR’s Pump and Pantry. Jasper County officials admit the break-in technique is highly unusual, and suspect the men in the video were also responsible for a similar theft attempt reported an hour earlier at Zippy Stop convenience store about 11 miles west of JR’s Pump and Pantry.

Hooded sweatshirts obscuring the thieves’ faces have prevented authorities from accurately identifying the two men, so they’re relying heavily on the damage sustained to the pick-up truck to ultimately lead to their arrest. Detectives site the tremendous damage to the store front as reason enough to belief the white F-150 the men were driving sustained significant rear-end damage, and have presumably alerted auto body shops in the surrounding areas to be on the alert. In related news, Jasper County officials are apparently unfamiliar with the rock-‘em-sock-‘em-robot durability of the Ford line of pick-up trucks.
