To some, the Segway PT (Personal Transport) was a joke when it was first released back in 2001. I mean here was this thing that looked like a pogo-stick with wheels that was supposed to spare one the inconvenience of, get this, walking. Therefore it should come as no surprise that while most of its purchasers had no problem mastering the Segway, there are those who simply could NEVER get it.
