Do you think you’re a good driver and have the ability to handle a car at speed? Well, think again. X-Games superstar Travis Pastrana is one of those rare individuals who not only knows how to drive on the ragged edge, but is constantly able to push himself and his team to the next level. Pastrana recently broke the previous Mt. Washington record of 6 minutes 42 seconds set by Frank Sprongl in 1998, with a blistering run of 6 minutes 21.47 seconds. What I found amazing about the video though was Pastrana’s happy-go-lucky attitude. Everything from his demeanor, to his driving, to his interactions with others, just shows this guy to be one big fun lovin’ kid who wants to have a good time. The part of the video (aside from Pastrana’s stellar driving) was the explanation of the pace notes. Honestly, I’ve watch WRC for years now and had no idea how those notes were constructed and or what the f*ck they meant. So, to Travis and Marshal Clarke… thanks for the clarification!
Now hit play and watch these guys rape Mt. Washington!
