As reported yesterday, a recent injury sustained by Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback Tony Romo to the pinkie on his throwing hand will keep him benched for at least four weeks, which leaves him with plenty of time to prance around with girlfriend Jessica Simpson. As if on cue: recently, Romo and Simpson have been spotted cavorting about town in Romo’s black Range Rover, while Cowboys fans watch from a distance, weeping quietly over the loss of another great player felled to the evil power of blondes. While the vacancy does open up a spotlight for veteran QB and personal favorite of mine, Brad Johnson, there is a small part of my heart that is still holding out for Romo to ditch Miss. Simpson.
