On September 1, 1950, the first Porsche-assembled automobile outfitted with a Porsche engine successfully finished production. Although two years earlier Ferry Porsche and his team had already created the first official vehicle to bear the Porsche name, it wasn’t until this date in 1950 that a Porsche with 100% Porsche-manufactured parts was produced.
