World Rally Championship

To be a race car driver one must possess a few definitive personality traits. First you must be competitive, with an uncontrollable will to win. Second you need a bunch of money, or at least be affiliated with a team with money. And third, you need to grasp the understanding that if something goes wrong, that you could die a miserable fiery death that would be painful for everyone to watch. Now it goes without saying that most people who wear Nomex underpants, don a helmet and wear fire proof shoes understand the risks of racing, but then there are those other guys, who well… simply don’t give a shit. I speak of course of rally drivers, those incredible human beings who look death in the face on a daily basis, and then give him the finger as they drive on by. In my opinion these guys are the craziest competitors in all of motor sport and they’ve earned that reputation by launching themselves (and their vehicles) down country roads at triple digit speeds without a care in the world. Click through for the video to help gain an understanding of exactly what I’m talking about.

Eff yeah, rally is my favorite motorsport, followed by drifting and then JGTC (or similar).
What’s sad is most of this stuff I have to watch and keep up to date with online because it’s not covered on US TV…
