Here’s the deal – the world is simply not ready for electric vehicles. We don’t have the infrastructure, the battery technology isn’t up to snuff yet, and at days end electric vehicles simply don’t provide the range necessary for 99% of the driving population. Wes Siler of the DRIVE Network recently took out the new 2012 Zero DS electric motorcycle. It’s got an 84 mph top speed and a 112-mile range, but the real question is – will an electric motorcycle provide all the thrills and fun that today’s petrol powered bikes do?
