Porsche GT2 RS

The Porsche 911 is a car that in theory, shouldn’t be as good as it is. You see the engine is totally in the wrong place thus giving the car a wickedly incorrect weight bias. However Porsche, being German, simply pressed ahead with its backwards design and low and behold, almost 50 years after the first one was built, they got it right! Actually that’s not quite true as the 911 is one of the best sports cars to ever roll on tarmac. They’re built like tanks, ungodly quick, and have the ability to make anyone feel like a total hoon. However they still have that issue of the engine being in the wrong place. Recently though Motor Trend was kind enough to put together a little video explaining to us not only how it works, but more importantly, why it works so well.
