The car chase is to movies as kibbles are to bits. They belong together and when done properly they not only give the viewers a great experience, but give them that big-ole’ cherry on the top of their sundae. Not all chases however have to be real, in fact some of the best ones I’ve ever seen come to us in animated form. The movie “Akira” for instance had an amazing motorcycle chase, as did “Ruin”. This new one though, from the animated short “The Gift” does a pretty good job of keeping up with traditions.
