Geoff: what do you expect when the company turns it's management over to a federal regulation board that's more concerned about MPG numbers than actually selling vehicles?

It is pretty ridiculous to say that they can not justify the G8, but can justify the numerous other shiny turds that they have let linger around for years. Fuel economy not good enough in the G8? Fair enough. I guess other automakers must be employing witch doctors to cast spells to produce horsepower and decent fuel economy in the same car. Chevy acts as though it is an impossible task. Putting aside mpg issues, from an aesthetic standpoint, other than the Corvette and Camaro, every other car badged Chevrolet is as attractive as a Corsica, or Beretta, or Lumina, or Impala or Cavalier or Malibu or Aveo or.....the list goes on and on. In fact, I'd love someone to name a car other than the Corvette or Camaro that they would say is as sharp as the G8. What about "marketing" for those cars Bob? How did those cars work out for you? Is his answer SERIOUSLY, "Looking for a performance-oriented sedan? Head on over to Cadillac." I can't WAIT to see the next Lumina or whatever clusterF#$% piece of S$%! Chevy turns out instead of the G8.....yeah....Im upset.
