Ridelust Review: 2013 BMW X6 M

Built to pay homage to the cars that raced in the SCCA Trans Am Series from 1968–1972, the 1970 Boss 302 is one of those rare machines that not only captivates us, but spikes our automotive imagination. Powered by a 302 cubic-inch small block that made 290 hp, the Boss was able to run to 60 mph in 6.9 seconds and trip the quarter mile in 14.6 seconds at 98 mph. By today’s standards those numbers are far from outstanding, but for 1970 they were just fine.

Beautiful beautiful video… but it’s missing a very important ingredient: the engine note.
