2012 Nissan Rogue SV FWD: RideLust Review
There has been a lot speculation as to what the interiors of the new Charger / Chrysler 300 and new 2012 Dodge Magnum will look like. You see in the past Chrysler has been known to carryover interiors from model to model. Take the current generation Dodge Charger, Challenger and Chrysler 300. They all have what is essentially the same exact interior as the dash boards, seats and center consoles all match, it’s a big mess really. The 2011 / 2012 model years are a big deal for Chrysler as they have a bunch of new models coming out. The new 2012 Dodge Magnum is set to debut by the end of this year as is the new 2011 Dodge Charger.
Thanks to Allpar.com what you are looking at are spy shots of the new 2012 Dodge Magnums interior. We’ve got Chrysler’s MyGig navigation system, dual climate control, a re-stylized dash layout and a 3 spoke steering wheel. The new layout is actually quite attractive but I have an unfortunate feeling that this is the same layout that we’re going to see in most of Chrysler’s new cars. The new Magnum also looks to feature a telescoping steering column, wheel mounted stereo controls and dual cup holders. Unfortunately though it’s hard to tell what the buttons under the climate control unit do… heated seats perhaps? This new interior is a clean departure from the drab interiors that Chrysler is generally known for, I just hope it’s good enough to win over customers and bring them back to one of my favorite brands.
