Team HUMMER Prepares For 2008 Baja 1000 Victory

On November 21-22, Team HUMMER will be competing in the Tecate Baja 1000, the final event of the 2008 SCORE International racing season, and if their winning streak holds up, they just might walk away with the victory. For the past three years, Team HUMMER has dominated the winner’s circle at the Baja events thanks largely to the Rod Hall Racing rally experts that have been sitting behind the wheel(s). In addition to Rod Hall himself, both Hall sons, Josh and Chad Hall, are also seasoned Baja veterans and pilot the 2008 HUMMER H2 SUT and HUMMER H3 Alpha, respectively. For Chad, securing the Baja 1000 win in November would be about more than maintaining his title as the reigning stock full Baja 1000 champion. “The H3 Alpha has demonstrated the toughness to compete with the full-size and heavy-duty Ford and Dodge trucks in the hyper-competitive stock full class,” said Chad. “A season championship for us would be great validation of the truck in its inaugural year.”
