Nissan Juke R

If you stop and think about where you actually go on a daily basis you may wonder why anyone would need a big horsepower SUV. Sure they’re cool and all, but for the most part they’re completely impractical. For the majority of us the daily grind consists of heading to work in the morning, picking the kids up from soccer practice and then maybe the occasional trip to the market – things that can all be done in something as mundane as a Toyota Camry. So why the need for a 550 hp family truckster? I was trying to figure that out, but then in doing so I came to the conclusion that I’m the wrong guy for that task. My daily driver has 425 hp/420 lb-ft of torque, which is about 225 more hp then I really need. I must admit though, it is intoxicating when you hit the go pedal, which is why I purchased it in the first place. This week J.F. Musial, Mike Spinelli and Leo Parente discuss big power SUV’s, the Nissan Juke R and a few forgotten hairy chested pick-up trucks on youtube’s DRIVE network segment, Road Testament.

Personally, I think the JukeR or even the Juke itself would be a good rally vehicle. It has all the right specs already.

personally im sorta tired of super suvs. since they cant go offroad and will get smoked by anything halfdecent on the road and also i sorta feel that only dbags buy ‘em muscle pickups on the other hand i have a huge softspot for since they are often cheaper and alot faster.

also they forgot bowler nemesis (its not a custom land rover they are like ruf to porsche) the overfinches both of which i love since they still work offroad and will go fast in a straight line. they also forgot the Audi Q7 V12 TDI and even if its not that fast and dont work offroad i still love a turbo diesel v12
