Just when Al Gore is beginning to get things on track, along comes Al Gore III (24) driving his Toyota Prius at over 100 mph along the San Diego Freeway at around 02.15 am, naturally it is inevitable that he is going to get pulled by the local Sheriffs Dept.
To make things worse the Deputies, who stopped the car, thought that they could smell something like Marijuana and after a quick search of the vehicle they found what looked like a small stash of medicines and marijuana. The medicines were later found to be Xanax, Valium, Vicodin and Adderall, used in the treatment of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD).
Al Gore III was being held in the men’s central jail in Santa Ana, but has now been given bail for $20,000! This is not the first time the Associate Publisher of the young peoples Philanthropy magazine “GOOD†as he was arrested back in 2003 for more or less the same thing. He was pulled over and arrested for the possession of pot, while studying at Harvard University.
Naturally we cannot hold the father responsible for what a son does, or can we? Politicians are all too fast to blame parents for their unruly children, but in this case, Al Gore III is hardly a child and therefore what he does should really be a direct effect of his parents. Or maybe it is just “An Inconvenient Truthâ€
