Some More Leaked Aston Martin One-77 Pics

Finally we get a view of the whole car, not covered by a sheet. Aside from the front grille, which has a nice throwback Aston look, the rest of the car seems a bit plastic-y and lame. I think the side vents are what throws me off. They make it look like an action figure.

On top of that, the blacked out taillight design is already started to look dated and the car isn’t even on the street yet. Under the hood is a 700hp V12, but the body just doesn’t do that power justice. The It has kind of a garish weirdness. I guess the One-77 is off my Xmas list.

Check out the rest of the pics and see for yourself:

How strange your criticism is about what is in all honesty a great looking car. The aggressive appearance hints at its shocking power and yet you sit there with 13 year old bratty type reasoning and criticise what obviously you couldn’t afford or infact design any better – get a life. Sensational reporting is so unnecessary and outdated. Give props where due – this is a fantastic car with an absolutely impressive appearance.

Wow, excellent point. I can’t afford such a car, therefore it looks amazing. Your logic is rock solid.

The irony is that you imply that I’m a 13 year old, meanwhile the side vents and boring styling of this automobile make it look like a 13 year old’s action figure.

Granted, the internals are amazing. It’s one of the most powerful, if not THE most powerful naturally-aspirated street car… but that’s not what I was talking about. I was talking about the styling, which frankly sucks. It’s cheap looking and reminds me of a 50 cent plastic toy.

Top Gear actually had a segment after I posted this article about the very same issue. They said they were afraid to touch bits of the interior for fear of breaking it.
The styling is junk, the interior is junk, the blacked out lights remind me of cheesy redone Subarus belonging to 17 year old asian boys.

For a $1.5 million dollar car… the styling falls way short. This is a fact accepted by the majority of the automotive community.
