So How Fast Is The Cadillac CTS-V World Challenge Car?

Cadillac’s best showing in the SCCA Pro Racing World Challenge series year to date has been a third place finish at the season opener in St. Petersburg. The CTS-V Coupe team cars have consistently finished in the top ten, which isn’t bad considering that this is their first year of competition. It’s not that the Cadillacs aren’t competitive, it’s just that the rest of the field is damn near even: in three races, there have been two manufacturers (Porsche and Ford) atop the podium, and both Chevy and Dodge have also had podium finishes. Watch the bumper-cam video of Johnny O’Connell lapping Long Beach at speed to see what hard on the brakes from 160 miles per hour looks like.
