This winter thousands upon thousands of motorists will slip and slide their way right into body shops around the country. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but with winter storms now happening daily across the United States, there’s not a damn thing we can do about it. We can however limit the amount of trouble we get into this winter by simply using two things – caution and common sense. If for instance you see a road that has a high gloss sheen to it, DON’T GO DOWN IT. Odds are that it’s covered in black ice and you won’t get very far. By the same token if it’s snowing and you know your car has worn tires. Do you yourself and other motorists a favor and stay home. That quart of milk you think you need will still be at the market tomorrow. Finally, if you have ANY hesitation about going down a snow or ice covered street, it’s best to just go with your gut and pull over. Practicing caution and common sense will not only keep you out of the body shop, but keep you off of Youtube as well.
