Have you ever been out driving only to come across a street sign that makes you do a double-take? Out on the open road street signs are constantly telling us what to do, how to do it and where to go. The majority of road signs out there are put in place to help us not only get to where we need to go, but to keep us safe on public roads. Every so often though we may come across a sign or two that carries either a mixed message, or leaves us just a little perplexed. I know in my travels I’ve experienced this several times. Most of the time there are rational explanations for why these signs exist, other times though they’ll simply leave you guessing. Here are a few quick road signs that will definitely evoke some mixed reactions from all those who view them.

• Nope… nothing confusing here.

• Wonder if this is next to Vagina Valley Road?

• Apparently if you stop here a moose will eat your car…

• Hmm… since when did they start using public roads?

• Sounds like something straight out of Deliverance.

• Basically you need to just stay where you are – forever.
