I really do wish somebody would come up with a new put down for Harley Davidson Motorcycles. I’ve owned three and only the ’97 sportster had any vibration issues. The softail and the dresser were as smooth as you could wish, dead nuts reliable and nearly indestructable. It might not be your cup of tea, but get up to date on the product before you bash it.
Oh, and none of them ever leaked a drop of oil or had any part fall off without the help of a motorist or the &*%^% deer in western PA.
You assume (incorrectly) that I haven’t ridden or wrenched on a modern Harley. Yes, the Dyna, Softails and Touring models are smoother than the Sportster, but compare them to other bikes and it’s no contest.

Like I said, just not my cup of meat.
