ok I have a 1994 toyota celica gt-4 and the front wheel acceleration, give me enough boost to let my turbo kick in, and I’m really looking forward for this 2011 toyota celica to improve over the honda civic and nissan, cause I have to upgrade, and I really hope toyota don’t jack the prices, but only one thing to say I am a racer so don’t let me down toyota

I bought my Celica GT new in 2001. It has proved to be an exceptional driving machine. It has always handled well, performed exceptionally, and has been easy and economical to maintain. The phrase “If they build it, I will come,” has never been truer. I’ve got my Toyota sales person on the lookout. I don’t usually feel that I must be the first in my town to own anything but THIS is different. I WANT IT!!!

I’m hoping toyota does the right thing and makes this just like the 90-93 all trac celica’s where, and tunes them right. I don’t want to see another plain 2 door celica, I want to see a high speed great handling, sleeper celica from toyota. i wish toyota would also in prove the scion company the bought, and inprove the tc’s, and not jack up the prices on part’s because they are “TRD”

I drive a 93 Toyota Celica that has 217,000 miles , It has NEVER given
me a bit of trouble. It is very upsetting to me to start looking for another
car but I know it is time. I would really love to but another Celica so I really hope that 2011 will not disappoint me for all the other sporty cars
that appeal to me are rear wheel drive.

I don’t want, and cannot afford a 400-hp Supra- class machine. I want a “Pony Car” to replace my 2000 Cellica, that’s reaching the point of diminishing parts investment.

(fact is, what I REALLY want is a pre-redesigned Cellica with flip-up headlights, slightly sportier handling, and a MANUAL 6-speed Prius (it can be done folks, You *do* need to go to a 240-HP combination output but you might get it all back using the electric-in-reverse for safety-improved engine braking. Reprogram the computer to anticipate clutch action and you regain the performance lost in the Prius 4-door famy car game (even ripping out the screen that SHOULD have become a 20-gage performance tuner’s dream.

Well, looks like the only thing left for us is the ful-sports-dress Civic. Thanks for nuthin’ Toyota
