Rossi SixtySix: New Classic, or Automotive Ipecac?

Posted in Chevrolet, Corvette, Design by Dustin Driver | June 19th, 2010 | 2 Responses |

The Rossi SixtySix either gives you some serious nostalgic wood or makes you gag. Either way, the thing is ready to hit the streets. Rossi (formerly Blue Fusion) says they’re gearing up to produce the kit to re-body C6 Corvettes. The total cost of a Rossi SixtySix (kit + Vette)? $130,000. Yowza. What do you think? Is the SixtySix the ultimate fusion of classic design and modern mechanicals? Or does it make you throw up in your mouth, just a little bit? Hit the jump for more photos. Oh, and why is it called the SixtySix when the split-window Vette was only available in ’63?
