When Gas Was 98 cents a gallon

I remember as a kid when Gas was 98 cents a gallon. I was in the car with my Dad, and Regular was .98 cents, unleaded was 1.01, and diesel was cheaper if my memory serves me right. Little did I realize that 20 years later Gasoline would be roughly 4.5 times more expensive. At this rate if we continue to consume gasoline on this planet for 20 more years it will be 17 or 18 dollars a gallon in 2030. How much is to much to pay for the price of gas. At what point will people say This is enough?
What about you, what’s your Gasoline breaking point?

Well, I wasnt born whenever gas was 98 cents a gallon, pshh, Its almost like “Impossible!”, but yes, I agree with you XD

I remember when gas was only that much, and it was only about 15 years ago. Crazy. I reside in Boston currently and don’t need a car here, but more and more people who commute are trading in their cars for more fuel efficient and environment friendly cars or they’re simply taking public transportation. Gas prices are crazy.
