Record Breaking Hemi Daytona with 930hp: Dyno Run

This crazy 1969 Dodge Daytona replica belongs to one Lee Sicilio. The Car holds a number of records in “Classic” category at Bonneville and was dyno’d at whopping 930 hp. The engine is a 498″ Barton Hemi, burning C25 fuel, with a Carl Foltz EFI intake, twin big TBs, and a ratchet shifted Jerico 4-speed. 9″ rear with 2.80 gears. What’s really crazy is the amount of body flex this thing sees in the rear quarters as they lay into the throttle. In October of 2001 the car ran a blazing 237.373 mph and then in Aug of 2006 it ran 248.128 at the Bonneville Salt Flats. The car is now being prepped to return to Bonneville to hopefully run in the 230 mph range.
