Not too long ago I started seeing these cool stickers on certain cars I would see while attending track days. They were small, about 4″ X 3″, and were simply the existing outlines of racetracks from around the world. Some cars ran 2 or 3 of them but many had at least a half-dozen or so. Most of the guys who had these stickers placed them on their cars as badges of honor, monuments to the race tracks they’ve run on. For some reason they struck me as a neat idea and I found myself trying to find them. While searching however I came across these little babies that are well… actually not so little. Called “Race Tracks Of The World”, these modern sculptures are made of Baltic birch plywood and topped with matte black Formica and are wall sized versions of your favorite race tracks.
The laminated pieces of birch plywood are cut by CNC machine to create the correct design, then the edges are smoothed and mounting hardware is installed. An average size for a piece is about 36″ square and would make an awesome addition to any man cave or garage. Check them out at GriotsGarage.com.
