Quantya Electric Motorcycle

Tell me this video of the Quantya motorcycle isn’t a little odd with just the sound of the tires on the pavement and the little electric whirr of the engine.

Quantya, a company based in Switzerland, has 3 versions of this motorcycle: the Track, the Strada, and the Supermoto. I can’t find much information about the Supermoto, but as far as the Track and the Strada are concerned, both have top speeds of about 45 mph, weight 195 lbs, and both can go about 2.5 hours on a single charge, which I’m guessing means the bikes can get about 110 miles per charge? Don’t quote me on that. To be honest, I’m not really clear on the differences between the 2 bikes, if any. I assume the Supermoto is faster, but we’ll have to wait for the specs to know for sure.

At any rate, based on the Quantya website, it looks like these bikes are now available for purchase within or can be shipped to the United States and Canada. The price for the Track and the Strada are about $10,000 each, with the Strada being a few hundred more (there’s the difference!).
