There are some performance companies out there that will build one car and then wait for the world to come running. Not Hennessey Performance though, these guys churn out high performance super cars whenever the wind blows. Headquartered down in Sealy, Texas Hennessey is known for modifying just about anything they can get their hands on. From hardcore pickup trucks like the Ford Raptor, to super cool drop tops like the Ford Mustang convertible. Speaking of convertibles, this is Hennessey’s newest creation, the 2011 HPE600 Camaro Convertible. This 602 bhp street monster makes its power by way of a TVS2300 supercharger system with cold air induction, stainless steel long tube headers,
high flow catalytic converters, stainless steel mid-pipes and high flow fuel injectors. The suspension has also been massaged by way of a KW adjustable coil-over suspension system.
As for performance, how does 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and a 1/4 mile of 12 seconds at 118 mph grab ya’? So, now the big question… what’s it cost. Well, the base package for the HPE600 Supercharged Camaro convertible will run you $56,495, but if you decide to go buck wild and get every option, you’re looking at a whopping $74,950. The upside to spending all that cheddar is that you’re guaranteed to have one of the most exclusive, bad ass and rip roaring Chevrolet Camaro convertibles ever created.
