Project JK

The Jeep Wrangler is one of the few vehicles still produced that hasn’t strayed too far from its original purpose. That being to take people anywhere they want to go, roads be damned. They’re amazing machines that can literally be taken apart with basic hand tools and are designed to be functional, reliable, ridden hard and put away wet. We’ve had a Wrangler in our family since 1999 that my brother bought new off the lot. That was 12 years and almost 200,000 miles ago and aside from basic maintenance that sucker has been unbelievably bulletproof. Over the years Chrysler has done a good job of responding to what their customers want with models like the Rubicon, Sahara and Sport. They’ve also extended the Wranglers usability by giving it two more doors as well. It’s unfortunate, but most Wrangler owners generally don’t take their machines off-road, which is a damn shame because they can traverse terrain that would kill a normal 4X4. The following video is one of the best I’ve seen on the net and really showcases what these bad boy drop-tops can really do.

Awesome video. Thanks for posting it. Those are some really nice rigs. A lesser machine wouldn’t have been able to touch that. Wet rocks are the worst.
