2012 Nissan Rogue SV FWD: RideLust Review
Wrapping up the mid-cycle update of its famed 911 lineup, Porsche’s most powerful street-legal racer, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, has been spotted taking a few warm-up laps in the scenic French alps. From what can be clearly gleaned from the photos, the GT3 RS will receive many of the same upgrades as the 911 Coupe, Cabriolet, Targa, and Turbo. Most notable amongst the changes include the implementation of new weight-reducing technology like a carbon fiber rear spoiler and a polycarbonate rear window (though no word yet on exactly how much will be shaved off the GT3 RS’ current 3000lb curb weight).
Aside from the light-weight body inserts and slight aesthetic revisions, many components of the 911 GT3 RS will remain largely unchanged. Under the hood, the GT3 RS will continue to share the GT3′s 305 kW (415 horsepower) 3.6L flat-6 powertrain, and is expected to sprinten from 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds before maxing out at a top speed of 310 km/h (193 mph).
