It's an Australian car with an American badge on it, and a car which has been around for several years in Australia, the Middle East, South Africa and Europe. Funny how it's been praised in the press in all those places for its quality, but you dispute all those expert opinions based on a minute or two of sitting in it. Take the car for a drive. I've driven it many times now, and had put it through its paces on some nice tough roads. I don't like the Pontiac nose on it either, but to criticise this car on its quality is to demonstrate your own failing, not those of the car. You sat in one.

It's your typical American slapshot quality crap. And yeah, boy howdy, Pontiac, and most of GM, are so aesthetically challenged for designing anything, only dumb 'Muricans who thinks dogs playing poker is "art" would buy them, and even dumb 'Muricans are raising their what a car should look like bar, part of why GM and Chrysler's sales are tanking. The G8 isn't EPIC FAIL territory, but it's just another exercise in showing how much Detroit hasn't a friggin' clue and why they need to just go away.
