When Deputy Brandon Jenkins of the Wake County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a disabled truck just shy of Raleigh, North Carolina he had no idea what kind of morning he was in for. I mean it’s one thing to be confronted by a disgruntled motorist, but when you have to deal with 50,000 of them all with wings and little stingers, well, that changes everything. You see the disabled truck in question was towing a trailer that contained 60 boxes of bees that were apparently very pissed off. Bees in general are not active and do not fly at night, so when the truck broke down close to daybreak the driver knew he had a problem. The matter then worsened even further when officer Jenkins arrived and the situation turned into something that looked like it came out of an Alfred Hitchcock novel, as the bees got lose and began to swarm his patrol car.
