I was perusing the WEB to see how many 2010 Camaros have sold so far. I stumbled onto this page. Too many folks getting upset about something that does not matter. I was in high school in the 80′s… old school redneck recently reformed. I have always wanted an SS and love my SS2. Now making good 6 figure income… not sure what that has to do with anything but bumblebee seems to thing its important. Advice to you all, just climb in the car, turn the key, and relax.

I don’t appreciate being called scum because I like the new Camaro. It sucks when someone who is not a true car person takes ignorant, stereotypical shots at something they could never understand. I don’t like minivans, kias, or most SUVs; but I understand why people (like you) do. Not liking something because you don’t understand it is the basis for much of the suffering in human history. Evolve lady.

Over-hyped? I don’t recall seeing even a single Camaro commercial on the TV. This car doesn’t need hype…just look at it, and once you turn the key…I’ll stop there, just try it for yourself. But chewing tobacco? WTF does that have to do with it? I’m pure lib, but some on our side I just don’t understand.

No, I really, really mean it. You NEED to learn not to be so sensitive about it, because like it or not, that is what 85% of people will be thinking about you when they see it. I was sitting in one at a car show, trying to snap some photos, and in the five minutes I was there, I heard the same series of jokes probably three or four times. “Oh, son, you need to get out of that car, you don’t have the mullet to fit in there.” or, “Do they actually check if you own a mobile home when you buy one?”

If you’re that touchy on the subject, you really shouldn’t have ordered one, because I’ll bet money you’re going to get jokes like that one on a daily basis. Have you considered taking up chewing tobacco so you have something to spit at the people who make them?

Wow…the tobacco comment. Nice, I’m guessing your journalism degree came from an online college – not a very reputable one at that. I am well educated young woman and I bring in a very nice salary. I do not chew tobacco or live in a trailer home, nor do I have any credit card debt. I ordered a 2010 Camaro last week. Not everyone wants to drive a bland boring car. And not everyone is on the Honda/Toyota bandwagon. So instead of being a judgemental b**tch about who will be driving/buying this car, why not sit back and wait for the numbers? Like a real, informed journalist would?
