An Elko County Sheriff’s Deputy, Mike Moore, had the unenviable task of arresting his wife this weekend for driving under the influence of Alcohol. The wife, Charlotte Moore,  in this instance is also a local prison deputy who was off duty and returning that evening from a downtown business groups wine walk.

After initially pulling her over for either speeding or making an illegal turn, the off-duty deputy fled the scene after being administered a breathalyzer test. Thus resulting in the deputy having to call in for back-up while pulling his wife over a second time for fleeing. Once the back-up officers arrived the husband backed off from the scene and allowed the supporting officers to make the arrest.

Off-duty Deputy Moore (the detained in this instance) was released from jail on Sunday and was put on administrative leave. Mike Moore was probably at home wondering why his dinner was not prepared that weekend. Either way there seems to be a very rocky road ahead for the future of this marriage.
