I’ve seen a lot of things in my life, good, bad and just plain ugly. When it comes to motorsports, few things surprise me anymore, since builders have stuffed V-8 mills in just about everything you can imagine. Even the world’s fastest couch, complete with downforce-adding coffee table, can run into the triple digits. What’s left when it comes to going fast?

One thing I’ve never seen, until I ran across the You Tube video below on BangShift, is a Kenworth T800 dump truck run the quarter mile in 15 seconds at over 90 miles per hour. It sounds like the driver is bouncing off the rev-limiter, too, meaning that there’s still speed to be had with a faster-shifting transmission. The noise alone is worth the price of admission, and if there’s drag racing in hell, I’m pretty sure the T800 is the ride to beat.
