2012 Nissan Rogue SV FWD: RideLust Review
Nissan is recalling more than 200,000 vehicles to fix a problem with the car’s passenger side sensor system. The problem could potentially cause the passenger airbag to not deploy in an accident.
The recalled cars include the 2007-08 Infiniti EX35, G35 Sedan, G37, and the Nissan 350Z, Murano and Rogue. But the problem seems to mainly affect the 2007-08 Nissan Altima, 140,000 of which are being recalled
A Nissan spokesperson said there have been no accidents of injuries yet. Their explaination of the problem: an issue with an electronic component could interrupt a signal in the sensor system. That could prevent the passenger air bag from deploying under certain conditions.
