Nissan Nuvu EV Concept Debuts, Paris Auto Show 2008

According to Nissan, the Nuvu Electric Vehicle concept is the quintessential example of the perfect city car. Powered by a completely electric drivetrain, the Nissan Nuvu sits on a compact 3-meters long chassis, making it the ideal plug-n-go for urban dwellers.

For those of us who place at least some value in aesthetics, however, the Nissan Nuvu appears to be full scale replica of the Jetsons’ craft. As far as concept’s go, the Nissan Nuvu electric hybrid certainly fulfills the “unrealistic” criteria inasmuch all that glass paneling would get rejected in a second of the NHSTA had anything to say about it. While Nissan hasn’t made any public statements regarding production intent, Nissan’s EV that’s scheduled to hit Japan in 2010 will most likely borrow some of the Nuvu’s design cues.
