New Audi TT-RS Stops Playing Coy, Gives Us The Full Monty

ttrs090008_large__mid

Quickly abandoning the strip tease initiated earlier this week, Audi has graced us with full-frontal TT-RS nudity in a series of new high-res pics. Scheduled to debut officially next week at the Geneva Motor Show, the brand new Audi TT-RS isn’t approved for U.S. launch, but that doesn’t put a damper on our spirits. Equipped with a direct-inject, turbocharged 2.5L 5-banger, Audi claims the TT-RS is capable of producing well over 300 bhp and white-knuckle performance on the road. Electronically limited to 250 kmh/h (155 mph), Audi also boasts the new TT-RS is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in “nowhere near five seconds,” but we’ll let the real-world testing be the official judge of that.
