At first glance, this looks like a nicely restored and slightly modified 1966 Datsun 520 pickup. But a race-bread roadster lies beneath its humble skin. A Ratsun.net forum member who goes by the handle Bob3 sliced and diced an NA Mazda Miata and welded its subframes and driveline to the unassuming pickup. The result is a tiny green pickup that has bested a 2003 Corvette Z06 around the track. Of course it helps that Bob3 is an experienced racer and the Miata suspension has been setup to mimic a Spec Miata race car. The truck looks incredible and judging by the race results, it goes like stink, too.
