Ridelust Review: 2013 BMW X6 M
Shooting brakes were what rich guys used to haul their guns to the skeet range. Think GT cars with kammbacks. It’s really a fancy way of saying “wagon,” a way to lend some exclusivity to the practical cars. That’s likely why Mercedes-Benz is calling its sleek CLS wagon a Shooting Brake. Either way, it’s probably the prettiest Benz to come out of Stuttgart in a long, long time. The car first appeared at the Beijing Motor Show. Mercedes says it’ll introduce the CLS Shooting Brake sometime in 2012. The best news of all? The wagon will come in CLS63 AMG guise with 507 horsepower along with 465 lb.-ft. of torque.
