Red Bull Renault’s Mark Webber has taken his third consecutive pole position for Sunday’s Turkish Grand Prix. McLaren Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton starts alongside Webber in P2, followed by Webber’s teammate Sebastian Vettel in P3 and Hamilton’s teammate Jenson Button in P4. Michael Schumacher, driving for Mercedes, starts from P5, out qualifying his young teammate Nico Rosberg for the second time this season.
Ferrari is unusually far down in the grid, with Felipe Massa starting from P8 and Fernando Alonso starting from P12. The pressure is clearly on for Massa, who is rumored to be looking for a new ride for next season.
The Turkish Grand Prix airs on Speed TV at 7:30 ET.
