2012 Nissan Rogue SV FWD: RideLust Review

Big Bobby Lutz has a big bobby’ for the Cadillac V lineup. This is good, because so do we.
Lutz, currently head of marketing for GM, confirmed the forthcoming CTS coupe will receive the full V treatment in a web-chat on GM’s FastLane website.
According to Lutz, at this point the V treatment is only planned for the sedan and coupe. A CTS wagon is due out next year and consumer drums are already sounding for a V iteration of the beast. If the demand is strong enough, GM may consider building this super-wagon.
“There is no reason why we couldn’t do a V-series wagon,” Lutz said, “and I would be standing in line for one, just ahead of you.”
Something tells me he’ll be ahead of all of us.
The CTS-V Coupe will receive the same 6.2 liter, 556 horsepower V8 and six-speed Tremec TR-6060 manual tranny as the CTS-V sedan. As your mom would say, “sporty.”

G8-cum-Caprice and now this?
I’m really hoping GM found a way to justify the economics of Lutz going crazy on a small scale with performance vehicles. Like, maybe they figured it’s worth $$$M to just let him build the cool cars he wants, regardless of volume sales.
Hell, I’d buy stock in Lutz Motor Company.
