There has been a trend over the last few years in the form of having your automobile vinyl wrapped in order to change its appearance. The wraps are generated via a computer based on a design that the owner and artist agree upon. Once the artwork is set the vinyl is then printed out in large sheets and adhered to the car. The issue with the design process up until now is that it hasn’t been overly organic in nature and images sometimes need to be altered to fit properly on the automobile. Enter now Live Car Custom and the bllankWall system, a new customization technique devised by Ludovic Clamens. This system can contour any shape to perfectly fit the curves of the automobile and by utilizing the car as the actual canvas one is able to see the outcome before anything is done on printed material. Pretty cool stuff if you ask me.
