2012 Chevrolet Sonic LTZ: RideLust Review

It feels as though it’s been far too long since we’ve seen Jerry Seinfeld being funny. In fact, ever since “Seinfeld” ended back in 1998, it seems as though America’s favorite comedian has seemingly vanished. Now however it seems Mr. Jerry is back shilling for Acura and their upcoming NSX super car, which is actually quite amazing since he’s so closely associated with Porsche (he owns like 50 of them). Regardless though it’s just nice to see Jerry back in action doing what he does best – making people laugh.

You’re reading my mind with regards to the Seinfeld-Porsche connection. I thought he owned the original 917k from the movie “LeMans?” I also wonder at the wisdom of these companies releasing their SB ads early. Doesn’t that eliminate the surprise/interest/ ‘buzz’ surrounding them?
Oh, and I want an NSX.
Okay, that was pretty funny. But did you catch the fine print at the end? Something like, “NSX available within the next three years?”
“Hey, look at our new supercar! It doesn’t exist yet! But maybe soon!”
Yes I see the fine print about ‘available in next 3 years’. I guess the sportier image is something Acura wants associated with all their vehicles in general. That’s the only thing I can figure since it can’t be to promote ‘advance’ sales of the NSX (can it?).
